I was in town visiting last month and while I don't speak Portuguese very well, they were all incredibly patient with me. Many of them even took the time to engage me in conversation. Yes, this meant they needed to slow down and use simple words, but that meant a lot to me. I interacted with Carlos the most and he's awesome. He's one of the owners and treated me like family there. In fact, they all did. Everybody was always smiling and it's the exact kind of atmosphere you'd want at a restaurant. Now that I'm home, I already miss going there for lunch and saying hello! You all are the best! ”
